Rangers Set 9.35M Asking Price As Three Clubs Make Bids For Playmaker

Rangers are holding out for a fee in the region of €11m (£9.35m) for attacking midfielder Ianis Hagi, according to reports in the Turkish media.

Lazio and Sevilla are said to have already had bids of around €7m (£6m) rejected by the Light Blues, while Galatasaray have also tabled a smaller offer, worth around €4m (£3.4m), more recently.

Hagi would likely have been keen on joining the Turkish Super Lig side, due to the fact that his father Gheorghe played for the club and became a legendary figure there.

However, it appears that the Gers will stand firm on the Romanian’s asking price. Whether that will change before the transfer window closes, it remains to be seen.

After crashing out of the Champions League to Malmo earlier this month, there has been speculation that Rangers may need to sell in order to balance the books. Hagi, is though, a key player for manager Steven Gerrard so he is unlikely to be first on the list to be offloaded.
