Third Club Joins Summer Transfer Battle For 11M Rated Rangers Ace

Bundesliga 2 side Bochum are interested in signing Rangers attacking midfielder Ianis Hagi, according to reports in the Romanian media.

The German club look poised for promotion, sitting top of the table with two games remaining, and it appears they have set their sights on the 22-year-old midfielder.

There are now at least three teams keen on signing Hagi, with both Serie A side Lazio and La Liga club Sevilla also keeping close tabs on the Romanian international.

Reports in Italy over the past few weeks have suggested that Lazio could be prepared to pay as much as €13m (£11m) for Hagi, although those claims have not been substantiated.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard will be keen to keep hold of the playmaker, who has scored seven goals and contributed 13 assists in 43 appearances this season.

The interest from Bochum is unlikely to turn Hagi’s head, though, considering that he could well be playing in the Champions League with the Light Blues next campaign.
