Rangers winger Rabbi Matondo sealed a 3-1 win over Hibernian on Saturday with a superbly taken solo goal.
The Wales international jinked past a Hibs defender before curling his shot past goalkeeper David Marshall with five minutes left on the clock.
Matondo has often been criticised for his inconsistency but supporters on X believe he is someone who could still reach his full potential at Ibrox:
If only he was consistent 😍

The Rangers star needs to provide more of an end-product
Since arriving in Scotland back in the summer of 2022, the 23-year-old has scored just 4 goals and provided 9 assists. That is not a good enough record from someone aiming to be a regular starter in the Gers’ front three.
However, 3 of those 4 goals have come in Matondo’s last four league games. It appears that manager Philippe Clement is finally getting a tune out of the player.
Matondo should continue to play off the left-wing
All but 2 of his goal contributions for the Gers have come when he has been deployed on the left-hand side of the pitch. As we saw with his goal against Hibs, the Welshman excels when asked to cut inside onto his stronger right foot.
Whether Matondo will be afforded many starting opportunities in that position by Clement in future matches, we shall have to wait and see.
