Rangers Marksman Has Six English Clubs Chasing Him With One Team Lining Up Formal Offer

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has Crystal Palace and five other teams in England pursuing his signature, according to reports.

The Colombian international is not expected to sign a contract extension and, with his current deal set to expire in the summer, clubs south of the border appear to be lining up to secure him on a free transfer.

In addition to Palace, it is believed that Aston Villa, Everton and Wolves, Burnley and Middlesbrough are all targeting Morelos. However, the Eagles are thought to be the team most likely to put a pre-contract agreement on the table.

Gers boss Michael Beale has revealed that the 26-year-old isn’t willing to commit his long-term future to the club, suggesting the player is considering his options.

Going by the number of teams credited with an interest in Morelos both in the UK and on the continent, it seems almost inevitable that he will leave after six years at Ibrox.
