Rangers Handed Ultimatum Over £4m Summer Transfer

Racing Genk sporting director Dimitri de Conde will not wait around for Rangers to decide whether they want to sign Ianis Hagi on a permanent basis, according to reports in Belgium.

The Light Blues have a £4m purchase option on the Romanian international but with interest from other clubs, de Conde could begin looking for other potential suitors.

It is believed Hagi wants to stay at Ibrox for the long term, but there are doubts over whether the Gers will decide to keep him permanently.

The 21-year-old has shown flashes of potential since arriving on loan in January, but the pandemic which has brought the world of football to a halt means he has only managed to play 11 games for the Scottish club so far.

Whether that will be enough for Rangers to make a firm decision on his future, we shall have to wait and see over the coming months.
