Brighton are interested in both Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara and captain James Tavernier, according to reports in England.
The Seagulls have been seeking a replacement for club legend Bruno who retired at the end of last season, and their interest in Tavernier has been known for a while.
However, Brighton’s pursuit of Kamara is a new development. The Finnish international only moved to Ibrox from Dundee in January but manager Graham Potter is a big fan of the midfielder.
He tried to sign the 23-year-old when he was at Swansea but lost out to the Gers for his signature. However, it appears he will make a second attempt this summer to sign the former Arsenal trainee now he is at a Premier League club.
Kamara performed well in Steven Gerrard side’s midfield during the second half of the campaign. Playing in a holding midfield role, he made 16 appearances, scoring one goal and providing three assists.
