The impending appointment of Michael Beale as Rangers manager hasn’t gone down well with every Light Blues supporter.
Although the QPR Head Coach clearly knows what he is getting into after working at the club before, his lack of experience has led to many fans expressing their concerns on Twitter:
Not sure about this tbh

Major gamble. Yes we like him and he likes us but being a manager a whole lot different than coaching

Distinctly underwhelmed.

I'm not convinced by this, we need experience. Seems that the board are taking the easy option again

Not sure how I feel about this. Realistically we are never paying the money for a decent premier league level Manger. Beale is a good coach and everyone speaks very highly of him but it’s not getting me that excited. I hope he comes in and proves me wrong.

Another gamble…just what we need to steady the ship

I don't like to be negative but…

Totally underwhelming, not done enough yet to deserve the job.

Beale is certainly not a proven manager and he will, to some extent, be learning on the job, even though he is familiar with most of the players.
One thing he does have in his favour and, something that will make him an upgrade on his predecessor Giovanni van Bronckhorst, is that he does have a recognisable style of play.
In the few short months he has spent at QPR, he has got the team playing an attractive brand of football. Whether that will translate to winning matches on a consistent basis in the Scottish Premiership, though, we shall have to wait and see.
