“Essentially Done…” Source Reveals Rangers Are On the Verge Of Announcing Van Bronckhorst’s Successor

Queens Parks Rangers head coach Michael Beale is almost certain to be appointed Rangers boss, according to The 4th Official.

The insider claims that Beale wants the job and it is now down to finding an agreement with QPR:

Beale has been the red-hot favourite to replace Giovanni van Bronckhorst in the dugout at Ibrox for the past few days and it seems as if he will now make the move back up north to Glasgow, barring any last-minute hitches.

Steven Gerrard’s former assistant manager knows the club and most of the playing squad very well but it will still be seen as a rather risky appointment.

Beale has very limited experience as a manager, having taken charge of just 22 matches in all competitions, picking up nine wins, four draws and nine defeats. His QPR side have gone five games without a win and find themselves seventh in the Championship table. He will be looking for more consistency if he takes over at the Gers.
