Laudrup Names The Two Rangers Players Who Could Decide Europa League Tie Against Slavia

Rangers legend Brian Laudrup is backing Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo to be influential when the Gers take on Slavia Prague in the second leg of the Europa League tie tomorrow night.

The Czech side are very hard to break down, and Laudrup believes the Light Blues will need the creativity of the two players to make things uncomfortable for their opponents:

“Rangers have players who can unsettle a very good unit, which the Czech side’s defence undoubtedly are. I’m looking at players such as Ryan Kent and Joe Aribo, people who can take opponents on and make things happen.”

Steven Gerrard’s side head into the game at Ibrox with an away goal advantage, having drawn 1-1 in the Czech Republic, but it would be dangerous to try and see out a 0-0.

Slavia won 2-0 away at Leicester City in the last round and also won 3-1 in Nice during the group stages, so they won’t be looking to sit back. With that in mind, Rangers will need players like Kent and Aribo to take advantage of any openings that their opponents present to them. Whether they will be able to do so, we shall have to wait and see.
