Lille will make one final offer for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos worth £18m, according to reports in the Scottish media.
The French club made one bid earlier in the summer, which was rejected by the Light Blues, but it looks as though they are lining up another attempt to secure the Colombian international’s signature.
Some fans on Twitter are sceptical about a formal bid being made while others are debating where the money should be spent if they do sell Morelos before the transfer window closes:
If he keeps playing like lately I would try and keep him but then he might go in huff and get back too mood swings again.??????????????????

Yeah, that’s the problem. He’s still a young lad, a bit immature and petulant at times so going in the huff wouldn’t be a huge surprise.
£18m is a lot of cash for us these days so it might be hard to turn down.
In the meantime let’s hope he keeps banging them in!— DeepBlue (@JohnLeoNo1087) September 22, 2020
I would ask him if he wants to go see where his head is,then if we sell,we need to use around half of it for a striker and a midfielder.

If he goes we lose the league. Simple.
£20 million is a lot, but he's worth every penny to me.
He'd score 30+ again this season easy.

If the bid is genuinely £20m then Alfie will be of to France.

That'll be him gone then. Ally said yesterday he believes a £14m bid would be acceptable

It is believed that Lille will make a bid well ahead of deadline day to give themselves some time to pursue other targets if their offer for Morelos is rejected.
There is also interest from English Premier League club West Brom but so far the Baggies have not made a formal offer, and it’s likely that the Rangers forward would favour a move to France if a deal can be agreed.
