Fiorentina will make a decision over whether to make a formal bid for Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos “in the next few days” according to the Sunday Post.
The Light Blues have slapped a €20m (£18.5m) price tag on the Colombian international but they have yet to receive an offer which matches their valuation.
Lille were reportedly very keen on Morelos, with claims that they had offered €18m for the 24-year-old, while the likes of West Brom, West Ham and Aston Villa have also been mentioned as possible destinations over the past few months.
The Colombian did pick up a knee injury in the 4-0 win over Dundee United yesterday, following a nasty challenge from Ryan Edwards, and a move could have been jeopardised if the player was out for a while.
However, it is thought that Morelos could well be fit to face Lincoln Red Imps later this week in the Gers’ Europa League qualifier.
