“He’s Going To Be A Threat To Celtic” Pundit Claims Van Bronckhorst Has An Ace Up His Sleeve In Title Race

TalkSPORT pundit Trevor Sinclair insists Rangers midfielder Aaron Ramsey can overcome his fitness problems and play a key role in overhauling Celtic at the top of the table.

Despite arriving on loan from Juventus in the January transfer window, Ramsey has not started a league game for the Gers so far due to injuries, but Sinclair believes the former Arsenal player could be the difference in helping to clinch title number 56:

“Once he’s up and running, I’ve no doubt he’ll affect the team – and the league. He’ll do that with goals, assists, energy and quality which we’ve seen over the last 15 years and that’s not going to change. He can play different positions and isn’t a bad finisher either. He’ll have a lot to offer. Hopefully not enough! But I think he could be very influential. He’s a top-class performer and he’s going to be a threat to Celtic, for sure.”

There were some positive signs from Ramsey during his run-out against Dundee last weekend but he will have to do a lot more if he is to become the influential figure that many expected him to be when he first arrived at Ibrox.

Manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst took a risk by bringing in the injury-prone Welshman and, so far, the gamble hasn’t paid off, but there is still time for the player to make a success of his time in Scotland.
