Rangers have been handed a game against Portuguese side Braga in the last 32 of the Europa League. The first leg will be at Ibrox in early February with the return game a week later.
The Light Blues managed to avoid a number of difficult opponents in the draw for the knockout stages. Braga are currently ninth in the Primeira Liga, after a poor first half of the season which sees them 21 points behind league leaders Benfica, and Gers fans are delighted to have been drawn against them:

Absolutely delighted with that draw. I honestly fancy our chances against any team in the competition. We were in “The Group of death”, played the best football and were just that wee bit unlucky not to finish top. #letsgo

Manager Steven Gerrard will no doubt also be pleased with the draw. Rangers could have got the likes of Ajax, Arsenal, Benfica, Inter Milan, Manchester United, Red Bull Salzburg or Sevilla after being unseeded.
Braga did, though, finish above Wolves and Besiktas in the group stages so they are not to be taken lightly, and supporters would be advised to guard against complacency.
