Rangers forward Josh McPake has joined Championship side Dundee on a six-month loan deal, the club have confirmed.
The winger signed a new three-year contract with the Gers back in July, keeping him at Ibrox until 2022. He has previously been interesting the likes of Liverpool and Roma.
However, with his future now secure, Rangers have opted to send McPake out on loan to get more first-team experience. Fans on Twitter believe the 17-year-old will benefit hugely by getting game time at senior level:

McPake generally plays as a right-winger and with Sheyi Ojo and Scott Arfield ahead of him in the pecking order, he would have likely played most of his football with the reserves this season if he had stayed put.
Manager Steven Gerrard did give the teenager his senior debut in the 6-0 win against St Joseph’s last month. He came on as a substitute for the final 23 minutes in the second leg of the Europa League First Qualifying Round match.
