Rangers winger Josh McPake is on the verge of signing a new contract with the Light Blues, according to reports in the Scottish media.
The 17-year-old is expected to shake hands on a four-year deal next week, ending months of speculation.
Talks between McPake and the Gers originally broke down back in March when the teenager rejected new terms.
With just 15 months remaining on his contract at Ibrox, it was feared that Liverpool or Roma could have poached the player, with both teams reportedly keen on snapping up the wide man.
However, in recent weeks, discussions with McPake began once again, and it now seems almost certain that he will sign on the dotted line with his new deal running until 2024.
The youngster is currently out with the first team in Portugal for their pre-season training camp and he will put pen to paper when the team returns from the Algarve.
