Ajax have released centre-back Daley Blind from his contract, with the Dutchman now available to join another club on a free transfer.
Belgian side Royal Antwerp are believed to be favourites to snap up the former Manchester United defender but some Rangers fans on Twitter have suggested that the Scottish side should consider going after the player:

Blind faced the Light Blues during the Champions League group stages, while he was a prominent figure as the Netherlands made it all the way to the World Cup quarter-finals earlier this month.
His availability may pique the interest of Gers boss Michael Beale, who has limited options in the centre of defence. While Connor Goldson has returned to fitness, the continued absence of Filip Helander and the injury problems suffered by both Ben Davies and John Souttar mean Blind could be seen as a worthwhile addition. As already mentioned, though, Antwerp look to be his favoured destination at the moment.
