Rangers winger Ryan Kent’s wonder strike in the 2-1 win over Hibernian yesterday got supporters talking after the game.
It was the 24-year-old’s twelfth goal in all competitions this season, and the sweetly struck left-footed shot from outside the box effectively sealed the three points for the home side.
Kent has fantastic natural ability, which was shown off in full when he slalomed past a number of Hibs defenders before slotting the ball away, and fans on Twitter were praising his telling contribution to another home victory:
Brilliant player watp 💙 can’t wait to meet him one day

Kent motm for me, if only for that stormer of a goal. Ended up making the difference as well. We had a few scary moments and our quality wasn’t 100% today, but it was a good match to watch and the right result in the end. Still unbeaten in the league👍🏼

Consistency is really the only issue for the Englishman. His 12 goals and 11 assists in 47 appearances show that he does offer a great deal in terms of end product but he does tend to go through peaks and troughs in form during the season.
If Kent could reach his best level on a more regular basis, the former Liverpool player would undoubtedly be the best player in the league.
