“What I’m Hearing” Journalist Reveals Rangers Have Made A Decision On Amad Diallo’s Future

Rangers have decided that they won’t try and keep Amad Diallo beyond the end of the season, according to journalist Dean Jones.

The Ivorian has struggled since arriving on loan from Manchester United during the January transfer window and it seems the Gers will not be seeking to sign him on a permanent basis. Jones says he has it on good authority that the player will be going back down south:

“What I’m hearing is that Diallo is not staying beyond this season.”

It is not a surprising decision from Rangers. Diallo has barely made an appearance in recent weeks, and he was notably an unused substitute in the Scottish Cup semi-final against Celtic yesterday, despite manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst using all six of his subs.

After making an instant impact on his debut back in January, with a goal against Ross County, Diallo has started only two more matches in all competitions since then, with the 19-year-old managing only 254 minutes of football in total.
