Rangers winger Eros Grezda has returned to former club NK Osijek after having his contract terminated by the Light Blues, according to reports in the Scottish media.
The 24-year-old was signed for £2m from the Croatian club eighteen months ago but he struggled to make an impact. He was then frozen out after a spitting incident when playing for the development squad in the Scottish Challenge Cup against Ballymena United.
Supporters on Twitter feel Grezda will not be missed:
We probably paid them to take him

Really thought the boy had potential, just couldn't hack it when he stepped up a level…
Best of luck to him ?— Mackenzie90 (@Kenzie199o) January 6, 2020
It is believed that the Gers have, though, asked for a sell-on clause which will at least see the Scottish club get some money from any future sale.
Director of Football Ross Wilson has already sent Andy King back to Leicester after terminating the Wales international’s loan deal and it is expected that a number of other fringe players will be offloaded before the transfer windows shuts at the end of the month.
