Rangers centre-back Filip Helander turned 28 yesterday and many fans have decided to reflect on the Sweden international’s performances since arriving in Scotland.
Astonishingly, the defender has not lost any Premiership match he has played in over the past two seasons and supporters on Twitter have been singing his praises:

Helander deserves a huge amount of credit for his displays. While the centre-half isn’t the quickest, he is able to make up for it with his positioning and anticipation.
Combined with his aerial presence, he has been an excellent foil for Connor Goldson in the middle of the defence. If you also include Allan McGregor in goal, it has been a very formidable backline, which has proven extremely difficult for opponents to break down.
In the 22 league matches in which Helander has featured in this campaign, the Gers have conceded only eight goals; that is quite remarkable considering some of the opponents they have come up against.
