Rangers have yet to make an “official approach” for Nottingham Forest striker Emmanuel Dennis, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri.
The Belgian reporter, who is usually pretty reliable when it comes to transfer stories, says that the Gers have been offered the Nigerian international and the player would be interested in making the switch to Ibrox. However, Philipp Clement’s side have not made any sort of bid:
Hi @RangersJournal !
🇳🇬 Emmanuel Dennis has been proposed to the club but there hasn’t been an official approach as of now. I can confirm the player’s interest for Rangers though.

Dennis is currently on loan at Istanbul Basaksehir but the Super Lig club are keen to cut short his time in Turkey, after scoring 0 goals in 8 appearances so far.
The forward has shown he is capable of scoring goals at the top level
Forest bought Dennis for £10m in the summer of 2022 off the back of a season when had hit the back of the net 10 times for Watford in the Premier League.
However, the 26-year-old did not manage to replicate his form at the City Ground, scoring 2 goals and providing 3 assists in 25 appearances last campaign.
Lack of game time has played its part in Dennis’s drop in form
At Forest, the Nigerian made 9 starts in all competitions while, with Istanbul Basaksehir, he was only named in the eleven 4 times before he was sidelined with injury.
After bringing in Fabio Silva on loan from Wolves, though, it would be a surprise if the Gers do go after someone like Dennis, even if he is keen on moving to Scotland.
