Three European Giants Battle To Sign Rangers Starlet As Club Scramble To Tie Him Down To New Deal

Manchester City, Bayern Munich and Roma are all interested in signing Rangers winger Kai Kennedy, according to reports in the Scottish media.

The three European clubs are keeping tabs on the 17-year-old, who has impressed whilst playing in the Light Blues’ development squad that has reached the semi-finals of the Challenge Cup.

Kennedy currently has a contract that runs until 2021 but Rangers are reportedly in discussions over an extension in order to prevent him from moving clubs.

The teenager first came to the wider public’s attention when he played in the 3-2 win over Celtic in the Scottish FA Youth Cup final back in April.

Kennedy has also played in the UEFA Youth League this season, having featured in the first round against Young Boys in October.

Since then, he has also been included in the matchday squad for the first team’s 3-1 win over Hamilton in November. However, he is yet to make his first-team debut for the Gers.
