Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara put in another standout performance as the Light Blues secured a narrow 1-0 away win against Hibernian last night.
The Finnish international was again an integral player in the middle of the park, providing a stabilising presence while others attacked. If and when Rangers do lift title number 55, Kamara will have played a significant role in it happening. Underrated at times by some fans and pundits, he is undoubtedly one of the first names on the teamsheet for manager Steven Gerrard.
The Gers boss wants the club to tie down the 25-year-old to a new contract, and he is certainly deserving of one. With the likes of Arsenal, Leeds, West Ham, Brighton and Sheffield United having all been linked with the player in recent months, it’s imperative he signs an extension soon.
