REPORT: Rangers Scouts Make Trip To See Two Possible January Targets In Action

Rangers sent representatives to watch Anderlecht’s game against Zulte Waregem on Friday night, according to the Daily Record. The newspaper suggests that the Gers are likely to have been there to see Kemar Roofe or Francis Amuzu in action.

The scouts would have been impressed by what they saw from Roofe. As well as getting on the scoresheet, the 26-year-old also provided a crucial assist in the 2-1 away win.

Roofe has been in excellent form after recovering from an ankle injury that ruled him out for the first six league games of the season. He has scored five goals in his first eight appearances for Anderlecht.

The Englishman has been tipped as a potential replacement for Alfredo Morelos, who has been linked with a number of EPL clubs in recent weeks.

Amuzu, meanwhile, didn’t feature and was an unused substitute as manager Vincent Kompany got his second win in a row to move his side up to tenth in the Belgian Pro League table.
