Rangers Star Has Asked His Agent To Find Him Another Club Ahead Of The Summer

Rangers defender Jack Simpson is looking for another club following talks with the Light Blues, according to reports in the UK.

The center-half has only been with the Gers for thirteen months but he has never managed to establish himself as a regular starter, having played just twice since the arrival of manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst.

Simpson could have moved in January, with two English Championship clubs reportedly interested in taking him back down south.

However, both Middlesbrough and Birmingham City were not able to get a deal over the line before the transfer window closed, leaving the 25-year-old twiddling his thumbs on the Rangers’ bench. In fact, he has not made a matchday squad since the Scottish Cup fifth-round match against Annan Athletic last month.

With Simpson knowing he doesn’t have a future at Ibrox, he has asked his agent to find him another club with the hope of securing a move ahead of the summer.
