Rangers Star Confirms That He Intends To Speak To Tuchel Ahead Of Potential 5M Transfer

Rangers midfielder Malik Tillman has revealed that he will hold talks with new Bayern Munich manager Thomas Tuchel before deciding on whether to move to Ibrox on a permanent basis.

Former Chelsea head coach Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann in the dugout at the Bundesliga champions last month, and Tillman says he will discuss his future plans with the 49-year-old, along with Michael Beale:

“I think I have to listen to both my managers; the Rangers one and the Bayern one and see what they say. See where they see me and see what the plans are for the future. Then I can decide.”

The Gers do have an option to buy Tillman in their loan agreement, with the set transfer fee believed to be around the £5m mark. However, before it can be triggered, the Light Blues must have the approval of the player.

Beale has already said that he wants to make the 20-year-old’s move to Scotland permanent, but the player will ultimately have the final say. Bears supporters will be hoping that Tuchel has no desire to keep him when discussions are held at the end of the season.
