Rangers Scouts Send Back Rave Reviews About English Teenage Sensation As Club Consider Summer Swoop

Rangers are weighing up a potential move for Guiseley forward Josh Stones, according to reports in England.

Scouts from the Scottish champions have been sending positive feedback about the 18-year-old’s performances in the National League North.

Considering Stones is currently playing in the sixth tier of English football, it would still be a gamble to sign the teenager but there are other teams keeping a close eye on him.

Championship club Blackburn Rovers and League One outfit Wigan Athletic have also been tracking the striker‘s progress this season so it seems the Gers are not the only ones who believe Stones can play at a much higher level.

Whether he has the potential to become part of Giovanni van Bronckhorst’s first-team squad in the near future, it is not known, but he could well be brought in to feature for the club’s B team in the Scottish Lowland League.
