Rangers Now Have A Second Rival In Their Battle To Land Liverpool Ace

Leeds have entered the race to sign Ryan Kent on loan from Liverpool, according to reports in the local media.

Manager Marcelo Bielsa has asked for the club to increase his options in wide areas, and they have identified the former Rangers loanee as a primary target.

The good news for the Gers is that Leeds are unlikely to be able to buy Kent outright, and like the Scottish club, will be seeking a loan deal.

In a head to head battle for the 22-year-old, Steven Gerrard’s side are likely to come out on top following his good experience at Ibrox last season.

However, Liverpool may be considering offloading Kent on a permanent basis. The Reds are seeking up to £12m for the winger, which would put both Rangers and Leeds out of the race.

Aston Villa would be the favourites if a sale is on the cards. Rangers will be hoping that Jurgen Klopp opts to keep Kent for a further year and send him out on loan once again.
