Rangers Hand English Championship Side Advantage In Pursuit Of £150K Bargain

Rangers won’t be bidding for Hibernian forward Florian Kamberi as they are prioritising other areas in their player recruitment this summer, according to the Daily Record.

The Albanian is available for just £150,000, with Hibs prepared to let him go for the same price they paid Grasshopper two years ago. The Edinburgh club are struggling financially and are prepared to accept add-ons in the deal.

Hull City are said to be keenest to land Kamberi but despite being available for a bargain price, it appears the Light Blues won’t stand in the English Championship club’s way despite being in the market for a striker this summer.

The 25-year-old performed well during his brief loan spell at Ibrox, scoring one goal and providing two assists in nine appearances. Despite impressing, though, it appears that Director of Football Ross Wilson will only consider a move for the forward later in the summer if he is still available.
