Rangers Dealt Major Blow In Attempt To Secure 5M Transfer

Bologna winger Andreas Skov Olsen will reject an approach from Rangers in order to secure a move to Club Brugge this month, according to reports in the Belgian media.

A number of teams are believed to be battling it out for the Danish international’s signature, with Torino, Hertha Berlin and FC Copenhagen also keen on snapping up the player.

However, despite the Gers reportedly being prepared to pay €6m (£5m) for Olsen, the winger is said to prefer a switch to Brugge instead.

It remains to be seen, though, whether the Belgian Pro League side can come up with the funds to sign the Dane, considering it will be a sizeable outlay.

Brugge are expecting offers for two of their players during the January transfer window, Charles De Ketelaere and Noa Lang, although neither has left the club yet, so any deal for Olsen may have to wait until a sale is made.
