Rangers and Celtic remain interested in signing Fenerbahce winger Bright Osayi-Samuel, according to reports in the Turkish media.

The two Old Firm clubs originally targeted the Englishman when he was still at QPR. He was running down his contract at the time and there was talk that he could be snapped up on a free transfer.

However, Fenerbahce swooped in for Osayi-Samuel during the January transfer window, paying a six-figure fee for the 23-year-old. He made 19 appearances for the Super Lig side last campaign, scoring one goal and contributing one assist.

After just six months, though, it appears the Turkish club are prepared to let him leave, although they are now thought to be demanding around €5m (£4.3m) for his services.

At that price, it is highly unlikely that either Rangers or Celtic would get involved. English Championship side Fulham are also said to be interested in Osayi-Samuel, whilst there has been speculation that he could be used in Fenerbace’s offer to snap up Henry Onyekuru from Monaco.
