Premier League Side Will Try To Tempt Rangers With January Bid For 10M Rated Defender

Everton are lining up another bid for Rangers right-back Nathan Patterson, according to reports in the Scottish media.

The Toffees tried to sign the 19-year-old last summer only to have their bids rejected by the Light Blues, but they are thought to be determined to tie up a deal for the defender.

Scouts from various clubs reportedly watched Patterson in action during Scotland’s 3-2 win over Israel earlier this month. Manchester United and Liverpool have also been mentioned as possible suitors, although Everton’s interest is believed to be the most concrete.

The English Premier League side were thought to have considered offering £10m for Patterson before the transfer window closed in August, but they held off from making another formal bid after the fullback entered quarantine.

Rangers will only consider selling players for the right price and when you take into account Patterson’s massive potential, they will surely hold out for a large sum.
