Rangers manager Steven Gerrard would have been delighted with the 4-2 win against FC Midtjylland on Thursday with the Scottish club now poised to head through to the playoff round of the Europa League.
Having returned from Denmark, they will face a Hibernian side who won their first league game of the season narrowly against St Mirren last weekend. Paul Heckingbottom’s side will a good test for the Gers.
Gerrard could opt to keep faith with the side that won against Midtjylland, but he may have to make at least one enforced change, with midfielder Glen Kamara facing a late fitness test.
The backline of McGregor, Tavernier, Katic, Goldson and Flanagan will likely stay as it is, but Steven Davis could come back into midfield in place of Kamara.
The only other change that Gerrard may make is to re-introduce Sheyi Ojo. The Liverpool loanee could come in to replace Jordan Jones with Scott Arfield switching flanks. Alfredo Morelos is likely to keep his place ahead of Jermain Defoe.
