Fenerbahce are in talks with Rangers about signing Alfredo Morelos before the transfer window closes, according to Sporx.com.

The Turkish website claims that the Colombian international is Fenerbahce’s top priority, with a bid of €6m (£5m) said to have been put on the table as “negotiations continue”.

Morelos is a key player for Gers boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst and it would be a massive surprise if the Scottish champions allowed the striker to leave for such a low price.

The Bears have rejected eight-figure sums from the likes of Lille and Porto in the past for the 25-year-old, and it seems unlikely that Fenerbahce will succeed with their efforts.

One thing to keep in mind is that the Turkish transfer window does not close tomorrow like in Scotland. Fenerbahce would have up until midnight on February 8th to get the deal over the line if an agreement can be reached between the two teams.
