Rangers manager Steven Gerrard has confirmed that he has decided to stay at the club. The Light Blues boss raised questions about his future following the 1-0 defeat to Hearts in the Scottish Cup on Saturday, but after reflecting on his situation, he thinks he is still the man for the job:
“I’m good. Ready for the next challenge which is Hamilton tomorrow. The game at the weekend was bitterly disappointing, I have done some real thinking with the people around me and I’m ready to go again.”
For the most part, fans on Twitter are happy that Gerrard has opted to remain with the Gers:

Gerrard has a challenge on his hands to turn this season around. They can no longer win a domestic cup after crashing out against Hearts last weekend, and they have only a slim chance of overturning a 12 point gap at the top of the Scottish Premiership table.
An extended run in the Europa League would certainly help restore morale, but the grim reality is that the season will likely end without a trophy once again. Gerrard has work to do to get this team back where it belongs.
