Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has been pictured back in the gym as he works his way back to fitness from a thigh injury.
The Colombian international was ruled out for the rest of the season after undergoing surgery last month but, with the Europa League final just a few days away, some supporters on Twitter couldn’t help but wonder whether he can make a miraculous recovery ahead of the game on Wednesday:
Imagine if he made it eh? That would be amazing. No chance though. Hopefully back for pre-season

@nickersmc1 imagine the scenes if he was even on the bench Wednesday

You know he'd risk 6 more months of injury just for a 40/60 chance of making the bench in the final, this is his competition π₯

Just to be clear. There is NO chance of Morelos playing against Eintracht Frankfurt. Gym work is all part of the recovery process, and it will be a fair few weeks before the 25-year-old is back out on the grass.
From the look of things, though, the forward should have no issue being ready for the beginning of pre-season. After his much-improved form in the second half of the campaign, Morelos’s return will be keenly anticipated by fans.
