“I Think So, Yes.” Midfielder Admits He Is Open To 6M Transfer To Rangers

Malik Tillman has signalled that he is keen on joining Rangers on a permanent basis at the end of the season.

Manager Michael Beale has already expressed his desire to keep the American international beyond his loan spell that expires in the summer and, when asked if Ibrox is the right place for him to continue his development as a player, Tillman replied:

“I think so, yes.”

In the same interview, Tillman said he was enjoying playing for the Gers and he would be prepared to remain in Scotland, so it looks as though the decision will come down to the club.

Reports in the German media a few months back suggested that the Light Blues’ purchase option was worth £6m. If that figure is accurate, that would be a sizeable fee for the club to pay.

A lot will depend on Tillman’s performances but, if he rips things up between now and May, you can bet Beale will be knocking on Ross Wilson’s door to ensure that the clause is triggered and he stays a Rangers player.
