‘Honestly, If We Get Him For £5M, It Is A Steal’ ‘A Cracking Bit Of Business’ Rangers Fans Excited As Beale Provides Transfer Update

Malik Tillman could be a Rangers player again next season.

Rangers manager Michael Beale has confirmed that the Light Blues intend to trigger their option to sign Malik Tillman on a permanent basis from Bayern Munich.

Speaking before the American international scored both goals in the 2-0 win over Dundee United on Saturday, Beale said that the club want to keep the midfielder at Ibrox:

“[Director of football] Ross [Wilson] is talking to Bayern. We obviously want to activate the clause we’ve got.”

Supporters on Twitter are delighted that Tillman is set to remain with the Gers, although a few are still doubtful that Ross Wilson will manage to get the deal over the line:

There are a couple of complicating factors that fans should be aware of. Beale has confirmed that Tillman has an option to say no to a permanent move, while Bayern’s decision to sack Julian Nagelsmann and appoint Thomas Tuchel as manager could also affect the situation.

Everything at the moment, though, does point towards the 20-year-old staying in Scotland beyond the end of the season.
