Rangers winger Ryan Kent put in a top-class performance against Kilmarnock at Ibrox yesterday. The 23-year-old scored the crucial second goal but it was his all-round play which was equally noteworthy
The Killie’s defence were unable to handle him all afternoon and following the club’s decision to reject a £10m bid from Leeds for the midfielder, supporters on Twitter are hoping they can keep hold of him:

Kent. If Alfredo is worth 20 he is worth 30 to be honest!

Kent was superb today. His desire to drive us forward and always wanting the ball was key to our victory. If he played in England he’d be 45million+ especially when you see the fees been exchanged for complete dross down their. He’s at a bigger club anyway.

Manager Steven Gerrard has refused to be drawn on whether Kent has a release clause but it’s clear that Leeds will have to offer a lot more if they are to meet the Light Blues’ valuation of the player.
Performances like yesterday show how indispensable the former Liverpool star is to the team and, if the Gers are to win league title number 55 this season, it is imperative that the club keep hold of him. Whether Leeds will return with another bid, we shall have to wait and see.
