Rangers are among the teams interested in Bologna winger Andreas Skov Olsen, according to reports in the Italian media.
The 21-year-old has been a long-term target for the Scottish champions and it appears he will be made available in the January transfer window.
Supporters on Twitter had a mixed reaction to the story, with some keen to see Skov Olsen move to Ibrox while others believe the club are unlikely to be still interested after Steven Gerrard’s departure:

Not sure it would suit the system under Gio tbh. Deffo would under Gerrard

Why? He's actually more suited to the type of 433 we play under GVB. Danish & Dutch wingers very similar profile of player. If GVB is updating Ross Wilson's transfer options, he's definitely not going to be deleting a player like Olsen off it.

It is believed that the Gers could face competition from Besiktas and Real Sociedad for Olsen, who has struggled to establish himself at Bologna since a €6m (£5.1m) move in 2019. The Danish international has made just four league starts this campaign, scoring no goals and providing just one assist.
Manager Giovanni van Bronckhorst has kept his cards close to his chest in terms of recruitment but signing a centre-back would likely be higher up the Dutchman’s list of priorities than another winger, but shall see what happens next month.
