Rangers captain James Tavernier’s brother, Marcus, has been getting involved with the Light Blues’ title celebrations.

The Middlesbrough midfielder was photographed wearing a Scottish Premiership winners medal, alongside Nathan Patterson:

Marcus is a talented player in his own right but, unlike his sibling, he has yet to reach his peak, being seven years younger. Supporters on Twitter would like to see the brothers reunite at Ibrox:

Whether the Tavernier brothers will ever end up playing together for the Gers, we shall see. Marcus is coming off a rather underwhelming season with Boro, having scored four goals and provided four assists in 32 appearances.

The 22-year-old has also had to cope with two major injuries, with knee and calf problems having limited his game time in the second half of the campaign.

Tavenier has two years remaining on his contract at the Riverside Stadium but manager Neil Warnock recently said he was determined to keep the player, who has been linked with Everton and Newcastle in recent months.
