Lyle Taylor
The former Charlton Athletic forward has been heavily linked with a move to Ibrox and it could well be the case that the Gers now may make a formal contract offer to the 30-year-old.
Taylor scored 11 goals for the Addicks last season in the English Championship so he does have the pedigree, but there is likely to be major competition for his signature.
