Rangers defender Filip Helander was in excellent form for his country as Sweden won 3-0 against the Faroe Islands in a Euro 2020 qualifier last night.
The 26-year-old not only helped his side keep a clean sheet, but he also provided the assist for Mattias Svanberg’s goal as the Swedes finished second in their group to seal qualification for the Euros next summer.
Supporters on Twitter were praising Helander for another top drawer display:

There’s no doubt that regular game time has helped the Swedish international gain confidence. He was not a regular at the start of the season despite the Gers shelling out £3.5m on him.
However, his fortunes changed following his winning goal against Motherwell in the 2-1 win at the back end of last month. He has already developed a rapport with Rangers fans and his partnership with Connor Goldson has been rock solid.
The Light Blues have conceded just two goals in the last six games they have played in the centre of defence.
