EPL Club Plotting January Swoop For 8M Rated Rangers Star

West Ham are interested in signing Rangers fullback Borna Barisic when the January transfer window opens, according to reports in the English media.

The Premier League side are believed to be looking to strengthen their options on the left flank after Arthur Masuaku was sidelined due to a knee problem.

With Barisic having impressed for the Light Blues over the past eighteen months, the Hammers are thought to be planning a bid for the Croatian international, who is reportedly valued at over £8m.

Gers boss Steven Gerrard has already said that he intends to keep all of his key players until the end of the season but it does look as though the club are already planning for life without Barisic.

Last week, Gorica left-back Marijan Cabraja revealed that he was aware of interest from Rangers but he said that the Scottish Premiership leaders would only make a move for him if they decided to sell Barisic first.
