English League One Side Looking To Secure Transfer Of Rangers Target Man

Blackpool are looking to tie up a deal for Rangers striker Ryan Hardie, according to reports in England.

The 22-year-old was sent out on loan to Livingston last season and made a decent impression by scoring seven goals in 21 Premiership games.

Taking into account that Hardie started out the season with a knee injury, it is not a bad return considering the Lions finished fourth from bottom after the split.

However, it appears that the forward remains out of manager Steven Gerrard’s plans despite his successful spell away from Ibrox.

Hardie’s current deal expires at the end of the season, so this may well be a permanent move, rather than another loan deal.

The striker did agree to a contract extension prior to his switch to Livingston last campaign and that could happen again if Rangers still believe he has a long term future at the club.

Hardie has been on four loan spells during his career so far and has made just 17 appearances for the Gers’ senior side.
