St Johnstone recorded a shock 1-1 draw in the first leg of their Europe League qualifier against Galatasaray on Thursday night, with midfielder Ali McCann taking a starring role.
After the match, Rangers supporters on Twitter praised the 21-year-old with some hoping that the Light Blues make a move to sign the Northern Ireland international:

McCann has not been linked with a move to Ibrox up until now. In fact, the Northern Irishman has reportedly been scouted by Old Firm rivals Celtic on more than one occasion.
However, there are similarities in his game to fellow countryman Steven Davis and, with the 36-year-old nearing the end of his career, the Gers may consider the St Johnstone player as a possible future replacement.
It will be interesting to see how McCann develops this season and whether he does, in fact, grab the attention of Director of Football Ross Wilson at some point.
