Club Lining Up Offer For 10M Rated Rangers Star After He Was Left Out Against Hibs

Nice are expected to make a bid for Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, according to reports in the UK.

The Finnish international was left out of the squad that drew 2-2 against Hibernian at the weekend and it is believed that speculation over the former Arsenal player’s future may have had something to do with it.

Kamara has already been linked with a number of English clubs this summer, including Brighton, Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth, but it appears as if Nice are his main suitors currently.

The 26-year-old only signed a new four-year contract in September last year so the Gers are under no pressure to sell the midfielder.

With the sales of Calvin Bassey and Joe Aribo having raised the best part of £30m, there is no real urgency to offload Kamara. However, his game time has been reduced since the arrival of Giovanni van Bronckhorst so a deal may be struck for the right price. It has been previously suggested that the Scottish club may be willing to let him leave for around £10m, although the club may yet hold out for more.
