Bacuna did not go away on international duty so he should be fit and ready to make an impact on Saturday. Especially with a big Europa League clash against Lyon in midweek, manager Steven Gerrard will be looking to shuffle his pack somewhat so the former Huddersfield player could be given a chance to shine.
The 24-year-old is a central midfield player by trade so whether Gerrard will consider resting Steven Davis, Glen Kamara or Joe Aribo, we shall have to wait and see.
St Johnstone have struggled at the beginning of the season, having failed to win in any competition, with the exception of a penalty shootout victory over Arbroath, so it could be a good opportunity for Bacuna to come in and impress.
