Arsenal are very much still interested in signing Rangers midfielder Glen Kamara, according to reports in the French media.

Back in early January, it was reported that the Gunners had watched the Finnish international on six separate occasions, and they are said to be still monitoring the player, along with Brighton and Aston Villa.

However, a new club has also entered the race for Kamara, with Marseille keeping tabs on the 24-year-old, who impressed the Ligue One side whilst playing for Finland during the European Championship qualifiers.

The Gers are said to value the midfielder between €8m (£7m) and €10m (£9m). Considering prices will likely be much lower when the transfer window reopens, that would not be a bad fee considering the Light Blues paid Dundee just £50,000 for the player last year.

Kamara’s form has also taken a dip in recent months and if Rangers were to be offered a decent amount for the player, the Scottish club may well consider it.
