Rangers centre-back Filip Helander has still not lost a league game when he has been on the pitch for the Light Blues.
The Swedish international was in danger of losing that record when they were losing to Celtic on Sunday, but the 1-1 draw means it is now 29 league appearances unbeaten for the defender.
Helander was dominant throughout the game, keeping Odsonne Edouard quiet for the most part, and fans on Twitter have been praising the 27-year-old’s contributions:
He ha been an excellent signing

He’s tremendous- maybe could have done better at their goal yesterday but I’m splitting hairs here – he’s been assured and a corner stone of this teams success. I’m always extremely confident of the teams chances when he’s it in. This record he’s got is no coincidence.

"Aye but hes slow as a week in the jail"
Tell you what, if I was stuck in the jail for a week, I'd be having big Fil Helander as my protection. Just when you think that big fella with the shiv is by him out stretches a big Swedish leg to toe the danger away.

He handled Edouard really well when 1 on 1 with him.

Brings a composure and solidity to the back line. I'm sure he himself will have wished to do better at their goal yesterday though.

If we are nitpicking, it could be argued that the defender could have done more for Mohamed Elyounoussi’s opener in the first half, but that would be harsh considering his performances since his arrival at Ibrox
It has been 20 months since Helander arrived from Bologna for £3m and the fact that he is still unbeaten throughout that spell is testament to his ability. He will be hoping to keep that unbeaten record intact for a little while longer.
